Time Goes By...Fast

How fast the New Year is going!

I can’t believe it’s already the middle of January it seems like. It just goes by so fast and the faster and faster the days are going. It’s completely ridiculous and I don’t like it. Before I know it will be March and I’ll have no time left :(

This week has been really slow but really amazing miracles have happened. It doesn’t look like it on paper but The Lord put amazing people in our path. We found Scott this week. He’s a middle aged man that is really looking for the truth. He’s super humble. We met him at Starbucks when it was really cold (muahahah) and talked to him about the gospel. He really has a sincere desire, we did in fact invite him to be baptized and he agreed. It really helps me to know that this is what The Lord wants us to do. When we invite others to come to Christ it helps us fulfill our missionary purpose.

Elder Woodward and I are doing really good. It’s so fun being able to serve The Lord and find souls for Christ. He’s a funny young man and loves to work hard. It’s so fun to hit the world every day and talk with everybody

I was reading this cool book all this week (on my off time of course) about the top Mormon CEOs of the world. It’s a little older book written back near 2001 on Sept. 11. Businesses like American Express, Dean of Harvard Business College, and JetBlue. I learned a lot from that book. It was amazing the men who led some of the top businesses in the world accredited their success to the focus on family and on hard work. Working all the time but still making family a top priority and doing everything for them. Work is the #1 key to success. There were a lot of other tips and advice they gave but work was the main thing to success. It’s amazing how my parents taught me about work. I’m so thankful for them and all they have done to teach me to work. Even when the going gets tough you buck up and push through it... NEVER GIVING UP.

There is only one thing that makes you quit and that’s the devil. He gave up and quit but now he’s on a rampage to make you quit.... Just don’t do it!

Love you so much thank you!

Love,
E MAC
