HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Well, well, well!

Look what the week has brought. The sun is shining and another soul was baptized this week!
Marshawn took the amazing step of faith as he entered into a covenant with our Heavenly Father and received a remission of his sins. What a day that was. He got out of prison made the necessary changes that will ultimately bring him closer to the Savior. It made us super nervous for the start of the day. So let me tell you what happened...

The baptism was planned for 11:30am Saturday morning. We told Marshawn to be there at 11:00 to prepare and make sure the last steps are ready to go. The font was filling and we were assigned to clean the building so we ran home to change ate a lil something and get there at 11 and no one except for the bishops and WML and so forth. We wait and wait till 11:20 and still no one. So by this point all 4 elders are freaking out because the 2 baptisms that we had scheduled haven’t shown yet so we are all praying our hearts out and just hoping that they come. We did all we could do and just put it in the Lord’s hands. So we finished a prayer at 11:28 and bam! Everyone shows up. Marshawn is super nervous and is ready. Neontre is excited and we baptize them without any problems. It was amazing the spirit was there and both souls received the holy ghost :) What a blessing it was.

On another exciting note...I’m getting transferred again. I’m going to the Dunwoody area up in Atlanta again. It’s not in the downtown area but just outside there into the really rich areas up there. It’s definitely going to be a change for sure. I’ll be going back to district leader which I’m really excited about. Back to normal life and a normal sleep schedule. Lol. I’m really stoked about this transfer. It’s my last 2 transfers and there will be a lot of good things going on in the area thanks to all the previous missionaries. So I’ll keep y’all updated on the new address.

I’m really sad to be leaving the Conyers ward and stake. I loved this area. I’ve been so thankful for all the amazing people that i have met in the ward and the investigators I’ve been so blessed to work with.

But that’s about it folks

Love,
EMAC
