Changing our Focus

Good morning y’all!

So I heard that most of Colorado and Utah got dumped on by snow and that it’s a chilly one out there but just to rub it in a little bit I had to have a light jacket as I walked over to the gym today as it was probably 40-50 degrees haha. It does get chilly here in GA not as much a CO or UT but brrrrr it got chilly :)

What’s new in Conyers? As you may be asking yourself that... Let me just tell you... A whole lot of nothing. But it’s good I really love this area. It’s a tad bit different going from the big city moving out into the suburbs but it’s a nice change. The ward is really inviting and so ready to do missionary work. It’s going to help that we just had Elder Evans of the 70 come speak to us.He’s super important in missionary work. He is the executive director over missionary work and what a crazy day that was. He and his wife Sister Evans gave good and amazing talks on becoming a Preach My Gospel Mission-ary. He instructed us on not just doing things the easy way but doing things the Lord’s way. Or in other words Preach My Gospel way. He talked to us about not just tracting but doing it His way... Finding through the members and asking for more referrals. Its definitely a whole lot easier going to the people instead of actually guessing where they are at...makes sense right... He also said that tracting actually said that in most areas in North America that tracting brings a worse image than it does good. So it’s an interesting change of focus. That’s for sure. Other than that things are going well. I don’t have any cool experiences or anything like that yet as we really haven’t done much missionary work which is depressing but the work will press on. I just have to pray more. :)

Well y’all I love you so much and have a blessed and safe day out in the cold. Keep warm!

Love,
E Mac
