Happy Labor Day

Hello family!

Happy Labor Day from down in GA! It’s been a fun week for sure. It’s been full of a ton of phone calls and a whole lot of work but it’s coming along. It’s honestly just flown by and I can’t even believe that the rest of the week is all done. I still can’t even believe its Tuesday as I write this letter. :( Time is truly slipping right past us. We have to take control of every waking second that we have. Time is truly one of the most valuable things God has given us. It’s fun to have but it slips away too fast.

Transfers has come and gone and there were a ton of young excited new missionaries! 50 to be exact and what a bunch they are. The Lord is turning up the heat for the upcoming months and years as He will be continuing to hasten His work but filling the earth with missionaries! How great this work is!  We have gone from 13 companionships in the Atlanta West Zone to 19 and 16 of those companionships are training a new missionary. It’s really exciting just sit back and watch and most of all to be a part of the work. I really do love this work.

Had some really amazing miracles happen this week. So one of them is that we are teaching this wonderful family. The mom’s name is Ericka Smith and she’s probably about early 40s. She’s super humble and really desires the best for her family. When we found her she was working double shifts everyday 6 days/week. Her daughters were raising her children and to be honest I didn’t think that she would go anywhere. I felt that she wasn’t interested and that she didn’t want anything to do with us. But we kept praying for her and her awesome family (she has like 6 kids). We kept visiting and kept trying and finally we taught her. Invited her to church and she didn’t come :( But we stopped by and taught her. She got mad at one of her kids so to de-stress she started to read the BOM. Looking for a way to change her life. She loves it! We taught her last night and she’s so excited. She’s understanding what the spirit is feeling like and how it is touching her heart. She knows that the book is true and she is ready to make changes to her life to be baptized on the 24th. I love Ericka. She’s such a wonderful and beautiful daughter of our Heavenly Father who dwells on high.

I love and miss y’all so much!
Love,
E mac
