Hey girl hey!
What a glorious day it is to serve
the almighty God and to wake up and see another day. I am honored and so
humbled to be here. I can never really express it enough that I love my
mission. I love this gospel and I love you :)
Life in the fast lane is so much
fun. Zone Leader is really quick paced and definitely never has a slow moment.
But I love it. I hate being bored and I hate not doing anything (especially on
my mission) so I didn’t move all that far this week. I really only moved 14
miles up the road to the beautiful city of ATL! I mean I’m right in the middle
of midtown. It’s so humbling to wake up in the morning look up and be
surrounded by high rises and the massive Bank of America building. The Lord
truly loves us as his children and I know he especially loves missionary work. It’s
an interesting change of life... I am still a normal missionary still expected
to achieve all the other numbers. Blessing new investigators and lessons taught
etc. but I still have all the administration work. But I’m not complaining just
informing.
My new companions name is Elder Wahlen
and where is he from. Oh that’s right straight out of Utah. He’s been out for a
while but he is a mighty elder. I honestly have learned so much from him and
the amount of knowledge he has is incredible. He knows how to lead by example
and how to live the mission rules. He’s so awesome.
The work is still progressing! The Lord
is still hastening his work and we are finding new ways to adapt and find new
families to teach and preach the gospel to. We are working with a lady named Judith
and she’s so funny. She needs to be baptized so bad. She wants it to be true I
know she has felt the spirit but she wants it to be on her time. So it’s OK
just more time and more time to study for her and find new ways to help her.
Judith is from Jamaica and has the coolest accent. She’s a very neat lady that
really just makes you happy as you sit and talk with her. I love her. She’s so
special and Heavenly Father is really working hard to get her baptized as well
as us.
I just want you to know that I do
really love you. I will do anything for you and am willing to lay my life down
for you. I know this church is true and that it has changed my life. I know as
we submit our will to God and give up all the bricks in our backpacks that our
relationships with our Savior will grow and we truly are the happiest people on
earth. And as we share this message with our neighbors and friends they as well
can be the happiest people on earth just like what Elder L. Tom Perry said when
speaking in the last missionary broadcast :)
I love you so much:)
Love,
Elder macoubrie
