Introducing Zone Leader Macoubrie

Hola la familia!

What a week this has been indeed! I can’t believe that 6 weeks has just flown past me and now the transfer is over. It’s actually pretty ridiculous. Time sure does fly when you’re having fun serving the Lord and teaching and preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. It’s truly an amazing work! I just love and can’t get enough of it.

Well a new chapter has started and I close another on my mission. No more district leader for Elder Macoubrie in the Atlanta district. I was called this morning by the assistants and was asked if I would like to be a zone leader. I guess the Lord has bigger and better things. Maybe there is something I need to learn? I don’t know but I trust the Lord and I trust President Harding. I don’t know what the Lord has in mind but I give my will to the almighty God and He will help make everything work!

The work is still progressing. Yet again all of our investigators are not progressing but we have a few that will be baptized when they get the desire. I know they will. They have to know why they do this list of things to do. They need to know that baptism is truly the only way to enter the kingdom of God. It’s the only way. After that I mean we still have to work for our salvation but we must try and do the best job that we can while we are serving the Lord and living here on earth.

Today was super fun. Since it may be the last time that I will be in Atlanta, Elder Stocks and I spent the night at the zone leaders place and woke up early this morning to head out and hike Stone Mountain... Ok more like Stone hill but for those of us down here GA we don’t know what these so called mountains are. It was so amazing. It’s this mountain of granite rock. Just one continuous slab of rock. And trees still grow on it. We all said a little prayer up there and I began to think about how rooted those trees have to be to find moisture. It helped me understand that no matter where we are we must be firmly rooted in whatever soil we are placed in. Also like Jacob 5.

I love all of you so much! I miss you all a little bit (as I love being here). Haha!

Much love,
E MAC
