Spring Time in the South

Well hello there back in the snowy Colorado.

Y’all should be jealous because at the current moment I am in shorts and a t-shirt boy is that just nice. What a week! Wow I just can’t explain how tough and fun this week has been. So I guess let me just update you a little bit.

Elder Hoching got sick on Sunday to Wednesday. So therefore guess who got to sit inside all day...ya that’s right me. Oh boy was I going stir crazy. It doesn’t sound like the old Elder Macoubrie now does it. Well I hate being inside. So we just sat inside while Elder Hoching just napped and I suppose I cleaned and tried to keep busy. Boy did that suck. Than the rest of the week the weather just stunk it has been raining for a little while and therefore we can’t work. But we did. We pushed through it and found time to ride MARTA and to press on despite the weather. And then to put the icing on the cake...I broke a spoke on my back rim and my tire went flat in the front. But luckily I can fix the tire but not the rim. But that’s alright. I am glad I learned how to fix bikes while at home.

Tasha is doing great! She has her baptismal interview this Wednesday and is expected to be baptized on Saturday and what a glorious time that is to be able to watch her progress in the church. I know she adds a splendid contribution to the church and just her example to me and to her kids is awesome. I am so thankful for the spirit that bears witness to everyone’s heart and I am thankful that she has made this decision. I have pleaded with the Lord many nights for her to have a change of heart and I know He has answered my prayers.

Will and Anna are another couple that I just love. They finally got their divorce papers so that they now can be married and baptized. We were waiting on those papers and now it’s a little longer waiting game to be able to have them make that commitment. I’m so glad for prayer and how it changes lives.

Things have been great the work is progressing I have been in better moods and have been trying to make this last year the best time on my mission. Patience just comes over time and as I pray for that desire it comes in little bits but its coming I feel that I have been doing better.

Elder Hoching and I are doing good. I don’t have any complaints really. Bikes are good minus the little mishaps but they are good. Nothing that Elder Macoubrie can’t fix. :) I love to getting out there in the saddle and just working and finding people to teach to doing everything when it comes to bikes. I suppose they could keep my on bikes the rest of my mission and I would be ok with that but we will see. The next couple months are going to be hectic as more and more new missionaries come out and the new mission comes in. I still don’t know what the plans are for that but it’s all in the Lord’s hands.

I will try and plan on calling in the evening I would love to Skype but I’m not sure at the moment what will happen. I will try and call maybe around 5 my time so 3 your time so I can talk before everyone leaves.... But will that work?

I love you all so much! Thanks for the support and the love that you send.

Love,
Elder macoubrie
