New Mission Challenge

Well hello there everybody!

How is the week back in the good ol’ CO? Everybody sounds like they are doing good and having a good time. GA has been great. The weather is sure heating up and the humidity is starting to come out and make it rough to ride bikes. The heat feels so nice minus all the sweat...the flowers are blooming and the trees have all their leaves. I really can’t complain. It’s been a fun time having spring back in the air and no more of the pollen flying around :)

The mission is great. I am loving it every day that am here. Its definitely not the easiest thing that I have ever done (that’s for sure) but it’s the most rewarding. Just like everything you have those days where it goes good and it goes bad but when you look back everything happens for a reason. As long as we are working as hard as we can and are doing everything to find new investigators we are being obedient. The Lord knows the desires of our hearts and will reward us openly as we do all that we can to follow our Savior Jesus Christ.

We had a zone training meeting and President Harding and the assistants gave us some new tools to use to be better missionaries and to have us gain the vision to baptize. It’s not the easiest thing to do is to gain that vision but this new tool will really help us do that. I’m trying to take my time and finish everything so that I can get as much out of there as I can while others want to do it quick. Whatever as long as you can be certified in the Preach My Gospel binder :) It’s really cool you will be impressed when I have it all done and show you when I get home.

Everybody in the mission is doing about the same. Not much has changed. Tasha is still trying to get married and baptized and everyone else is still where they were the last time. I really need to change that but I need them do it as well. I can’t force anyone to do anything.

Elder Hoching is still doing good. I get mad at him sometimes because he wants to do everything so fast and just do everything at his pace but sometimes you need to slow down and smell the roses. So I get mad. I shouldn’t but I expect a lot out of him and I need him to learn. He sometimes has this attitude of just I don’t care but you have to! But hey I still love the kid. He’s been great. It’s been a good three months so far and who knows till the last Monday in May of what will happen.

Hope that sums it all up for you and answers all of your questions.. :)

Love you guys
E mac signing off haha
