The Blessings of the Spirit

Hello everybody!

I can’t believe April is almost up. It’s so crazy how fast the time is flying by. It’s so sad to see the days just flying away. But that’s so nuts about the snow! I wish I could be there to go play in it. I have seen "snow" in forever.... We saw a little flurries the other week back in Jan but nothing since. The weather has just been climbing...like 70s and 80s all week. You all should be jealous haha

Everything is going good here in the UC. Things have been great. It’s really funny though. I love the power of fasting and how much strength that brings to one’s life. So cool story that just happened today. So Tasha dropped us last week meaning she didn’t want to investigate the church. :( So I told her we still love her and we still will stop by every once in a while but she needs to make the decision on her own. But today we were cleaning the apartment...I know William cleaning but I do.... But anywho Tasha called and left us a message and told us that she wants to continue the lessons! That’s so exciting and that’s all because of prayer. Definitely noting that I could have done. Super exciting. Oh ya and another story... So we (Elder Hoching and I) were running a bit late to the Gospel Principles class that we are supposed to be in but I saw one of my friends... Paul K and he suffers I believe that Megan, our cousin suffered from. But he was standing in the hall and I asked if he was coming to class, and he told me nope he’s going to have a seizure. So than again asked him what we can do for him and he said "just catch me" right as he said those words just began to seize. Everything’s all good with him. It was a minor one that he didn’t have to go the hospital but it was still scary for me. Luckily the senior couple (the Newmans) that moved in to the ward she is a retired nurse so she knew exactly what to do. Thank goodness for the spirit that forced me to talk to Paul. If we didn’t things could have ended very different for Paul. Be thankful for the spirit that leads and guides all of us constantly.

Transfers are on the 24th and they are just coming up quick! Wow I don’t even know where this month has gone to... Things are good. I still lose my temper sometimes but I’m getting a better hold on it. I think it will be easier to manage my temper because I’ll mostly likely be put on bike so I have a better source to relieve that frustration. It’s still a struggle but I have to know that God will take care of me and help me through. And President Harding is doing good. He just got out of the hospital and is doing good. He said that he will make a full recovery. :) Oh ya and the giant fish tank in ATL. I haven’t been there yet just because its 40$ a ticket. I want to but heck that’s a lot of money just to see some fish haha. But I’ll find time to go soon.

I love you I hope you have a fantastic week and that you will always be mindful of the spirit and that mostly you will pray for missionary opportunities.

Love,
Elder macoubrie
