Power of Prayer

Kimmer!!!

I’m glad to hear from you and for the amazing stories and the amazing faith that you are able to show in your letters! You guys are great.

Thanks for letting me know about everything at home. I know I shouldn’t worry but I do. That’s just what I do. I need to know everything. We need to strengthen the family and do all we can to help them be truly converted! I’m praying for you don’t worry :)

Everything has really been good this week. Our numbers haven’t been where I wish they would be but they are getting there slowly with a lot of hard work. We have had to walk a lot this week and had a lot of appointments fall through with a lot of our investigators but it’s all good. God is carrying us through the tough times and we do what we can to always have a positive attitude. God is great and Jesus is how we return. Look for the good in life and look for the ways that God has made everything possible for us through His son, Jesus Christ.

Well it’s really exciting to see how miracles happen when all you do is pray...Tasha is really coming along and has really experienced a change of heart all because of the spirit. She decided that she needs to pray and read from the Book of Mormon and has seen and felt that the Book of Mormon is true. We have re-committed her to a baptism date for March 23rd and she is really excited to be able do that with her family. And of course we are praying hard for her. The ward is rallying around her and giving the support she needs to be able to follow through with this commitment.

Church was really exciting this week. Tasha came to church and so did Kristina Pope. It’s so funny how things happen when, your recent converts and your investigators, just pray and put God first how things just happen when they begin to put God first. But then Elder Giddeons of the 70 came to our ward and was able to instruct us on some really good things that we all need to be working on. Home teaching is key! Just do it. Don’t complain it doesn’t take very long. We (the ward) are the support to everything. We are the key to the work. It’s not the leadership it’s not the missionaries it’s us (the ward) this is nothing new. He told us to follow the prophet and this is what the prophet has told us to do. Really good meeting I wish everybody would have been able to listen and learn.

Transfers are coming up really soon. They are on March 13th. So it’s really exciting. Still no idea who it could be but we will see next Monday. President Harding and Elder Pasiaka are doing great. They are out of the hospital and doing well. And still doing missionary work.

I love you guys so much! I miss y’all so much! I hope everything is good. Keep your head up and work hard. Stay firm in the gospel and read, read, read and pray, pray, pray. Become truly converted to the gospel.

Love,
Elder William L. Macoubrie
