Happy Valentine's Day!

Well hello everybody!

Happy Valentine’s Day for all those who are celebrating that day. I can assure you I certainly won’t be but share the love on that day. It will be great.

This week has certainly been pretty crazy. It’s been a really fun week. Amazing things have happened and blessings have truly been answered from on high. Well so let me tell you about that...

Anthony Burnett has finally committed to be baptized. He has taken the lessons for about the last 6 years and has never received his spiritual confirmation that the church is true. He never felt the spirit and something was just missing in his life and you could just tell. We went over week after week pleading with the Lord to help guide us in the right direction. On Thursday I got mad at Elder Smith and said dumb things that I shouldn’t have, but while in the repentance stage after that experience I finally had the spirit tell me what we should do...we needed to talk about the Book of Mormon and explain that if he knew the Book of Mormon was true...The church had to be true. Again pleading with the Lord to carry this message to his heart and that he would be about to know the church was true. We went over there to his home with his wife and were giving it our all. "When we can do all we can do the Lord will take up the rest" and I know that to be true. This meeting was the hale Mary of the game. The Lord came right when we were about to give up and was able to touch his heart to the point that he gave up his pride and told us he knows the church is true. I hope you all feel the spirit that I feel in writing this letter. I know the Lord will answer our blessings if we just ask. He will carry us when we have given our all. And I have truly been able to see that with Anthony.

That’s just a cool story for today but we also had Elder Suarez from the 70 come to us on a special assignment and had a special for the missionaries for part of the GAM and for the Georgia Atlanta North. He taught us a lot of great things...It’s not about baptisms. This work we have been given is about lasting conversion. I love that man he really taught us in a way that he followed the spirit. The answer is always the same no matter if it comes from himself or from one of his servants. I am a servant of God and from Him, Jesus Christ. I am trying to do the best job I can at trying to find my brothers and sisters that are lost and looking for the truth. He has truly called me to this area and to the word of the Lord for a reason. Everyone in the world that has a calling in the ward unit where they live has been called of God. He knows your needs and your desires. Rely on him and put your trust in him.

Thank you so much for all that you do for me and for the Lord. I know He lives and that He speaks continually through His chosen prophets. I know that atonement can help us accomplish everything. He will redeem us from sin and from death if you rely on him and do all that you can do to be sinless. I promise that as a representative of Jesus Christ that, that is true.

I love you all for all that you do for me :)

Have a good week work hard.

Love,
Elder Macoubrie
