Holidays are Upon Us

Howdy Y’all!

Well the seasons have turned and the leaves have fallen and oh what a wonderful day it is outside. The fire a blazin' frost on the ground, it’s an amazing day to be alive! We have everything we could ever want. Family, friends, the gospel, the knowledge and the ability to use and access our Savior’s infinite atonement. It’s true the saying "Jesus is the reason for the season." born 2013 years ago our savior in lowly conditions entered this world that forever was changed. Just think about it for a minute without Him we would never be here and if we did come we would never be able to return home. Let us give thanks this holiday season to our Savior who has literally given us everything...The ultimate gift :)

This week has been amazing. All of the families we are teaching are coming along great. They are feeling the spirit and he is testifying of truth. Brandi is doing awesome. She missed church yesterday because she overslept but she let us know. She has been reading her Book of Mormon and is getting involved with the church. Her kids said they loved the feeling they feel when they come to church and are participating in the activities. It’s a miracle in my book :)

Marshawn is set for the 28th. He’s a miracle himself. It’s amazing to see how much power women have in mens lives. After meeting Mianca he decided to really change his life. He got out of prison and wants to make the righ

t things to be a better example to his family. He told us last night he doesn’t want to be the statistic that goes back. He wants to change and be the man God wants him to be.

Brielle is doing really splendid as well. We moved her date back to the 4th of Jan so that her family can be into for her special day. She decision has really helped pull her family closer together. Out of less activity.

Everything we do in missionary work just testifies that there is opposition on all things like its talks about in Helaman 5:12:

12 and now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall.

It states a clear promise that when the devil shall send his winds and the whirlwinds... Not if. Please keep that in mind if we center our life in Jesus Christ all things will be easier to cope with. We will still have the trails and the temptation but Christ is there every step of the way holding our hands to guide us to all things that are happy and holy :)

MERRY CHRISTMAS Y’ALL!

Love,
EMAC
