Gratitude

Happy Fall Y’all!

Indeed this week has been good and my heart is full of gratitude for all that my Heavenly Father has given me. I am so thankful for the privilege it has been to serve the Lord’s mission and to fight the adversary I really am thankful for everything the Lord has done for me lately.

It’s actually been a good week it’s been some ups and some downs. But that’s normal as in all missionary work. You can’t expect everyone to agree to accept the gospel. So I’ll start with the good... Had zone training meeting this week (ZTM) and that was awesome. Went through the temple and received some cool revelation about life and how to help the zone. I didn’t really learn anything new other than just a reassurance of how good God really is :) We also had really good lessons with some investigators like Marvin Banks who is waiting for permission to be baptized.

Bad is that Ricky Morgan isn’t going to be taking the lessons yet. His fellowshipper and Ricky decided to hold off on the lessons for now but he’s still coming to church which is amazing :) he’s an amazing man who will be a powerful priesthood holder.

It’s so sad to hear about faithful members of the church falling away from the true church into the unknown. We talked to an awesome family this week who was sealed in the mighty house of the lord and fell away because of things he thought we didn’t believe in. But we are starting to work with this amazing family and I know that their faith will bring them back. I know the spirit has been working on them for a long time and I know that they will come back... We just can’t allow this to happen at home with our friends and our neighbors. They are amazing sons and daughters of God and they all need visits and a friend!!! Be a friend to them!

You know I’m sitting here looking out the window of the library and I look at the leaves falling off the trees and how the weather is changing and I look back and ponder how amazing our Father in Heaven really is. His knowledge is astounding and to go a little bit deeper is that we can obtain that knowledge one day as we are completely living His will and as we are obedient.
It’s been the biggest thrill of my life being able to represent the Savior and having the opportunity to invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith repentance baptism and the Holy Ghost and as we show them the way how to endure to the end! How amazing is it to know that! I really hope that everyone will have that desire that I have to bring everyone to the truth. Big kids little kids. Take a second and think about your life and how the lord has just blessed you...

I am thankful for my family and my life. For a healthy body that I have been blessed with. I am thankful for the gospel that I was born into and have the chance to spread it and to help gather Zion together.  I am thankful that I can read speak and sing praises to God. I really do love you all so much and thank you for supporting me and helping me have encouragement!

Love,
E MAC
