Time Blurs By

Mighty familia!

Wow! I don’t even know what to say about this week. It doesn’t even seem like it should be time to email everyone and tell you about my week. It doesn’t even seem real :)

I’m so glad everyone is safe and all is well. I have heard about the storms and how bad it has gotten. I actually heard that the destruction is the worst that it has been since Katrina! I can’t even imagine what it’s like over out west! I’m so glad and I thank God that all is well with you where e'er you may be!

This week has been a blur. Most days are just rolling over into the next and it all seems like one giant day. Which is good! Means Christ is coming back soon:) but this really has been an amazing week. We went to the temple again on Tuesday and had a zone training meeting. It was interesting. President Harding and the assistants really let go of the reigns and left it up to the zone leaders to plan the whole meeting. Luckily for us we planned it along with the Atlanta East zone leaders and that helped ease the burden a little bit. Oh how I love the temple. I’m going there some day. I love receiving revelation for my life. I receive great gems of knowledge :)

It’s been a little struggle this week. I haven’t been feeling all too good this week. Got a cold and almost lost my voice. But it’s nothing to cry over. I have felt kind of eh on my mission this week. But I finally found out what I need to do. I have to be more confident in the Lord. I have to expect things to happen. I have to want what the Lord has. I need to be more bold. I also have to be more loving. Show that I actually care and that I do want to be here. I’m just a finite vessel that only has so much capacity but with the Lord, anything is possible.

Finally had some investigators come to church. It’s only taken all 5 weeks for them to come. For them to soften their heart but they loved it. They really felt the spirit and want to come back. I know the Lord looks out for His family. I know it. Crazy thing happened just before church. We were sitting in coordination meeting and all we heard were things to pop! Pop! It really sounded like gun shots (as our church is in the hood you’d be surprised how rough the part of town is) so we didn’t think too much of it but we go to the bathroom and we see Bishop Hopper and he has blood on his sleeve! But what happened is there was a nasty car accident and I’m pretty sure a lady died. She was talking on the phone going way too fast and couldn’t stop in time. I feel bad for those that were affected. A lot of the church members actually saw it and it shook a lot of them up. I promise that these are the signs of the times. Christ is coming back. We must prepare! If we don’t we will be sorry.

I know that this church is true. And I know that Christ lives and that He loves us. I ask you to look into your heart and cast out any little sin that you have. Look into your heart and humble yourself before the almighty God. I love this work and I love you all!

Love,
Elder William L. Macoubrie
