Staying in Cusseta

Hey what’s up Kimmie!

Your letters always bring a smile to my sexy face... Haha. That stinks that everything hasn’t worked out with the treatment stuff quite yet but something may happen. Just remember that it’s always on the Lord’s time not ours. It’s hard to do and do it well but it’s something that we have to become experts on and do it with an open heart and realize that we live on borrowed time from the heavens above.

That would be cool if he could do that. Although I don’t think he wants to drive all the way down to Cusseta. That’s like a 1-2 hour drive and there’s not much down but keep me posted for whatever. Well I got the call about transfers already and I’m staying in good old Cusseta and my new companion will be Elder Chase. I don’t anything about him but we will see. I’m kind of let down because I wanted to go to a new area but I guess the Lord has something else in store for me and I have to go along with it whether I like it or not. So that’s all the new news here.

The storms that you guys got last week are dumping on us. It’s been raining since Sunday and it’s a nice cool off. It’s supposed to get pretty chilly after the storm leaves GA so that will be a new experience.  But no tornadoes or anything crazy just raining and stinking over cast but hey it’s a nice change to have.

Your right Kimmie the priesthood is a wonderful gift that everyone is able to experience. I’m so thankful that I have the priesthood and use it for good in the life of those I come in contact with. That so cool about your blessing that you received. There is an amazing power that follows blessings. Do everything that you can do live up to it. Live up to your calling and definitely call upon the Lord for strength and help always!

Well church was awesome on the base. Taught a kid who is in the National Guard and is 18 and already married. He really has a desire to be baptized and is super worried that his wife won’t approve. I tried my best to help him through that and tried to give him advice. I tried my best but that’s an area that I’m not experienced in so I tried :) it’s so cool to see these kids younger that I am (barely) that want to find the gospel when they serve. It’s such an awesome experience to be a part of. Hopefully that will be me on day. Serving the country we live in and are able to help those find the gospel.

Things maybe hard in our life. You’re experiencing things that not even I know what it’s like to go through. But the amazing part about the gospel is that Heavenly Father and Jesus know exactly what you’re going through. Both for you and Aaron. Things maybe hard with the treatment stuff and with sickness and whatever else is going on. Just pray and ask for help and for comfort. Just know that I am praying for you guys and that I hope everything goes well.
That’s funny about Shelby and Danner the bananer. Haha. I miss everyone so much but before i know it, it will be 1 year, 18 months than I’ll be home its funny that you cut Dan’s hair. I don’t have anyone to cut my hair except for my own 2 hands. And I must say that I am getting pretty good haha.

Well Kimmie tell Aaron hey for me and hope everything is going well.

I love you guys so much and miss you like crazy!

Love
Elder Macoubrie
