Welcome to Fall

What up what up?

Well first off thanks for the packages! They came at the perfect time and everything will be put to good use. Thanks for the speakers and iPod and of course all the food that came with them. And the Dr Pepper haha. And thanks Kimmie for the ties! They are both being put into good use making me looking prettyful. You guys rock and know exactly what I like and what I need especially when I don’t tell you. I don’t use the GPS too much here in Cusseta but everywhere else I’ve been I use it a lot. Do you guys need it back? If you need me to I can send it back with no problem... Just let me know.

This week has been really slow. It’s been slower than normal. President Snow is officially gone and President Harding is now in and his wife should show up in a couple days. That’s really cool to have a new mission president. I haven’t been able to meet him yet but I was told after transfers on the 3rd I will be able to meet him and that will be exciting. The base is always cool and I love Sundays. They are so awesome on a mission. It’s just a spirit filled day. The base was cool we watch the movie the church has “Let not your heart be troubled" - talks about the military and its now their responsibility to act and serve not only the Lord but their country as well. It was a cool movie that I took a lot from. I can totally see myself in the military when I get home if I can get accepted to the ROTC program and school. Those both will be a challenge. But I’m up for it.

It’s so cool about the ALS walk. It’s such a cool way to remember Grandpa Kay and that everyone is able to participate. I can’t wait to come home and do that for him. That will be an honor to do that in his name. I’m glad that the fam is able to do that for him and for the other people around the world that are suffering from that terrible disease. And I’m so glad that the weather is able to cool off for those events. It always helps doing charity work and the weather is able to put out good enough to help the walkers do it. The weather here has been cooling off. The temps have been dipping down into the 60s so it makes for a chilly night haha. My body has adjusted to the hot humid not the cooler humid. But I enjoy it.

There’s a letter in the mail for Dan and you and dad and Kimmie and whoever else wants to read it. It don’t matter to me. Should hopefully get there by Thursday.

Not much has changed around here just like at home not much changes so far. Transfers are on the 3rd and that’s about the most exciting thing in my life so far. I won’t know if I’ll be transferred until next Monday but I’ll keep you up to date.

I was thinking that during a talk we had yesterday about talents. We all need to develop our talents to the best of our ability and that we need to keep test and stretching them to help them develop. And I thought that I’m not good at much but we all have something to develop and have to do our best to do them. It doesn’t have to be something "cool" but we all have something special to work on.

Well that’s about it. I love you guys and thanks so much for the packages and everything you guys are awesome!!!

Love,
Elder William Macoubrie
