Happy Thanksgiving!
What a chilly week it has been for
the state of Georgia. It’s been getting pretty cold the past couple days but
none the less the work of the Almighty God is moving forward at a hastened
pace. It’s been a good week down here in the Conyers stake. We had transfers and
Elder Schnell transferred off to a new area. I remained in place in Conyers and
will be staying for hopefully another couple months. My new companion is Elder Sandoval
and he’s a good elder and is working hard even to the end of his mission.
He actually goes home just a month before I do so it’s going to be interesting
to see what the mission does. If I will stay in Conyers to the end of the
mission or if they will take me out and have me train or do something else. Who
knows?!
The work is moving forward. We had a
cool experience about how vital and important members are to missionary work so
we have this member in the ward who was praying and has receive strong powerful
promptings to talk to her neighbor and her hair dresser. So we went across
the street to talk to her neighbor and as we were about to go over there a car
broke down and we helped this lady fix her car as much as we could.
Yadda-yadda-yadda the lady that we were headed over to see (Brandy) pulled up
and we were able to talk to her and set an appointment to see her and her
family. We are planning on putting her on baptismal date and help her family
come closer to the Savior. All this happened because of a member doing her job
and finding and seeking out those who need the gospel in their life. And you my
friends can and need to do that to. I invite you tonight to pray and ponder
about your friends and ask heavenly father who needs your help and your
testimony to help accept the gospel. Will you do that?
I am so so so thankful for the honor
I have been blessed with to serve and represent the Savior. How lucky are we to
have the gospel in our life!
Love,
EMAC
