Nebraska Love

Dear Cindy, Chris and Olivia -

Thanks so much for the package and the letter! It was so nice getting something. I ate all the rice crispies already and am working on the mints!

Cindy, It doesn't matter what you send me, email or snail mail. Personally I like both, so they both are fine. To answer your questions... (I love questions I can answer!)

1. Was the MTC scary? Not really. Everything was planned for you. you didn't have to do a thing. My companion was Elder Thompson. Its still hard having a companion always being with you but you get used to it.

2. Are you nervous about going to Georgia? I was but its getting better. its a whole lot different than Colorado or Nebraska that's for sure. The "ultimate goal" is... I don't know. I guess be the best missionary I can be, Whatever that may be.

3. Biggest testimony builder so far I guess would be, we are starting to teach Patrick. He is a guy who was a severe alcoholic, chronic smoker, coffee, iced tea, the whole thing. He has nearly given up all that to be baptized and see his daughter get married in the temple. i guess that's it so far but tons of Southern Baptists who don't want to change and its super annoying to be told "No" all day. I guess that's preparing me for dating once I get home, Lol! :)

Chris, I get so excited when Cindy writes about how you want to be baptized! I know its a hard choice to do but, I know if you do, you and your family will be so blessed. you can't even imagine how blessed you will be. Just watching my investigators here are deciding to be baptized, I know how hard it is, but keep praying and reading and God will bless you!

Olivia, I love you and don't forget it kid!

Love,
Elder William Macoubrie
