On My Way

Dad,

I almost cried on the phone today talking to you! I was so close, yet so far. I miss you! So I'm sitting here on the plane at 36000 ft and the plane is packed, but I'm looking out the window and think, we are truly lucky for what God has given us. The earth is so beautiful...I can't wait to land in Goergia.

You wanted to know about my everyday life at the MTC. Well okay, my day started off around 6-6:30. I woke up and got in line for showers. My building that I slept in was 6M Rey L. Pratt Room 125. But I took a shower, got ready. Then read my scriptures or Preach My Gospel. Then at 7 I had breakfast then study time. Studied 'til about 9-ish. Then classroom instruction or zone teach or TRC where we taught people as investigators. Those went to 12:30. Then lunch, then back to class or gym or more study time. After we finished around 4:30 we had dinner then if we didn't have class in the morning, we could have it after dinner. (I hope this is all making sense.) Then more study time, more TRC stuff. We finished around 9-9:30. We would go back to our house and study more, write in journals or mess around 'til 10:15. That's quiet time, then at 10:30 - lights out. That was my life day after day. Except on Sundays and Tuesdays when we had church and Tuesday night devotionals.

I really don't know what to expect. I know a mission will be so fun but tons of work. I am excited about the work part. I really do like working. This mission will not only bless me, but our family as well. That's so cool Chris wants to be baptized and he wants to be an example for Olivia. It would be cool if I could baptize him, but I double he would wait 2 years.

I am kinda scared about the real world and what its like. There are so many distractions. Its hard for me to focus on things when I see people or cars going by. The spirit will be with me if I invite him to be with us.

Dad, I hope you are preparing to serve a mission by reading the scriptures and praying every day. I got that prompting from the Holy Ghost when President Packer came and talked to us. I don't know why I got it, but I did and acted on it. I hop you and Mom will try and prepare and go. Go on a mission. It will be the best thing because I know you both want to so DO IT!

I hope Dan will have a desire to serve our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I hope I can set a good example for him. Although I'm not a very good example sometimes, I hope he can watch and learn from my mistakes.

I just had a super good chocolate chip cookie. It was delicious.

Just know I love you! And miss you tons. Can't wait to hear back! Love you.

Love much mane-

Elder William Macoubrie
